DevOps Buddy is operated by Idev Solucoes, a company registered in Brazil, which is the controller of the personal data described here. "We" and "us" below mean Idev Solucoes.
This page explains what we collect when you use devopsbuddy.io and why. Questions about any of it go to buddy@devopsbuddy.io, where a person answers. The short version: we collect the minimum needed to run the service, we don't sell data, and your workloads live on your own infrastructure.
The control plane runs on Google Cloud (region us-central1); account and metadata are stored in a managed PostgreSQL database there. Google Cloud is the only subprocessor that holds your account data, and the only one that hosts the control plane. Payments, when they begin, are handled by a second one — see below.
Deleting an app, server, credential or domain removes it from our database (and best-effort deletes the associated cloud resources you asked us to manage). To delete your account entirely, email buddy@devopsbuddy.io and we'll remove all of your data within 30 days.
During the free beta we collect no payment information at all. There is no card on file, nothing to cancel, and no payment processor involved. The beta runs until 17 September 2026.
When the paid plans open, card payments will be handled by Stripe, acting as our payment processor. Card numbers are entered on Stripe's own form and go straight to Stripe — they never reach our servers, and we never store them. What we receive back and keep is what we need to bill you and to answer questions about a charge: the plan you are on, the amount and date of each payment, whether it succeeded, and the last four digits and brand of the card.
Stripe is a controller in its own right for the payment data it holds, under its own privacy policy. If a plan requires an invoice or tax document under Brazilian law, we keep it for as long as that law requires, which is longer than the 30 days above — a deletion request removes everything else.
Nobody is moved onto a paid plan or charged without asking. This page will be updated, and account holders emailed, before the first charge is ever made.
We use two cookies, both our own. One keeps you signed in. The other remembers which language you chose to read the site in, so you are not asked again on every page — it holds nothing but a language code. No third-party cookies, and no advertising or analytics cookies of any kind.
You can request a copy, correction or deletion of your personal data at any time (LGPD/GDPR). Write to buddy@devopsbuddy.io and Idev Solucoes will answer as controller.
